Nicaea and the Date of Pascha/Easter
Virtual Conference via Zoom
The Orientale Lumen XXVI Conference will be held as a "virtual" conference in June 2022 on the theme of "Nicaea and the Date of Pascha/Easter." Speakers will pre-record their lectures for viewing on YouTube in early June, and two 2-hour live, interactive panel discussions will be held on Wednesday, June 22 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm EDT, and on Thursday, June 23 from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon EDT via Zoom video conference. We will also offer archive lectures with other background video material.
Instead of a registration fee, we are asking all participants make a minimum $50 donation toward humanitarian aid to refugees of the war in Ukraine. 100% of the donations collected will be sent to the Eparchy of Mukachevo in the far southwest region of Ukraine through which they are traveling to reach Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. All registrations must be completed by June 20th. The Orientale Lumen Foundation is a 501(c)3 approved charitable institution, and you will receive a tax receipt for your donation. Links will be sent to only those who register for access to the videos and Zoom panel discussion. Questions can be submitted before the panel discussion or during the discussion. Advance questions will receive priority from the moderator.
