Teachings of Kallistos of Diokleia

The Orientale Lumen XXVII Conference will be held on June 19-22, 2023 at the Washington Retreat House in Washington, DC on the theme of “Teachings of Kallistos of Diokleia.”

The conference will be a tribute to Metropolitan Kallistos of Diokleia who passed away in August 2022 and who was a co-founder and co-patron of the Orientale Lumen Conferences.  This year's conference will consist of video lectures in his own words on Patristics, Liturgy, Theology, Spirituality and Ecumenism.  A live panel of leading theologians and ecumenists will follow each video with a discussion and Q&A on each lecture.  The agenda will also include ecumenical prayer services and opportunities for fellowship.
